Pastor Doug JonesHello and welcome to New Hope. I currently serve as the Lead Pastor here at New Hope. I and my family moved to the city of Hornell to begin New Hope in 2011 along with a devoted group of core ministry leaders. It has been truly remarkable to see what God has done since then.
By way of further introduction, let me say that I am a father of three wonderful children and happily married to my high school sweetheart, Terrah. I am a graduate of Arkport Central School and Houghton College. I was ordained as an elder in the Wesleyan Church in 2001, and am honored to serve here at New Hope. While I have a great many passions and hobbies that range from being a sports junkie (I’ve watched curling) to loving the outdoors, to playing guitar, my greatest passion is seeing people discover the abundant Life that is found in Jesus Christ. This is really the mission of New Hope, as we strive to reach our world with the love of Jesus Christ. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you personally or corresponding with you should you choose to write to me.
